Day 17 - Monday 9th July
Today We went to the Casino. They have Monday Madness for over 50's. You join and get $20 pokie money on your member card, a buffet lunch for $9.95, a free drink and a $5 Keno ticket. I used my $20 and walked into the city to do some shopping while Merv stayed to win his fortune.
I came back for lunch and played games on the iPad until about 5pm. Merv kept playing the pokies.
He didn't have a good day.
We went to Stokes Hill Wharf for tea and to watch the sun set. Merv wasn't feeling well (he had a 'few' beers) so I had tea and we left before sunset.
It was good to have a quiet day.
