Hello all!! , well it feels like forever since we updated from Perth. We are now on our last day in Sydney and weve have a great 10 days. We arrived last monday and stayed for a few nights in the city in a great location, right next to hyde Park so walking disctance to the opera house and bridge etc. We spent most of the first few days taking in the sites of the harbour and the opera house.. which is weird to see after you see it on t.v and postcards!! We walked across the bridge, wondered aroudn the old streets of the Rocks ( which has little markets and old shops), looked through the botanical gardens and visited darling harbour, which is another harbour close by. We decided to spend a few days on Bondi beach so moved there for a few nights at the weekend and stayed in a hostel, which was just like school camp!! ha we met up with the leeds girls, tess, rachel and kirsty who we met in Thailand and had a great time going out in bondi ( where we also met up with cassies uncles rob!) and going to the beach etc. Bondi was great although compared to some of the beaches we have been to in oz it wasnt a scratch!! it was great to see people surfing and stuff and to sit in one of the coffee bars on the front and take it all in, although it did rain a couple of nights, but i suppose thats what we get for being greedy with the sun!! After Bondi we moved back to the city to spend our last few nights. We went to see Manly yesterday which is another beach which you have to catch a ferry to. We loved Manly it is a much bigger beach than bondi and lots going on. We are meeting up with the girls again tonight and going for a few drinks in a br we found that sales drinks for $3! ha running out of time so apologise for the short update, will update again soon as we fly to Auckland tomorrow!! much love xxxxx
