Chefchaouen is a small town in the north of Morocco most famous for it's skyblue buildings. They are apparently painted this way to keep away the mosquitoes. After spending a couple of lazy days in Marrakesh after our Sahara trip I decided to finally move on to Fes with Rikard. We caught an overnight bus (9 hour trip) and loaded up on sleeping pills. I arrived in Marrakesh last night and things got interesting straight away. The first thing I did after getting through the passport control was to get some local currency. Inside the airport were a bunch of exchange places and right next to these were 3 ATMs. One was out of order and the other two refused to accept either of my cards. Now I was starting to get a little worried as I only had 5 euros on me which apparently wasn't even enough for the exchange place...
