Prague: Sitting in a cafe, bleary eyed from the journey from Austria, whwere we were filled with many wonders and experiences...
...Our experiences of Austria begins with a shaky start, once we reached our destination; Vienna! from Slovakia, we got lost attempted to find our accommadation. We were doomed to be lost forever without Philla and her sense of direction! Phils, we need you back!!!
Eventually, with a sweet man's help, we finally found our accommadation and to our very much annoyance, we discovered that we have been walking the bloody very loonng way around the city to our accommadation, where we could just easily taken a 5 mins shortcut!!
However despite this, we started the day with enthusiam- we went to the Catheral of Saint Stephens, which is very stunning and beauitful. There, Cam decided to get married there- lucky groom, where are you?! ( Cam's daddy, start to save up!)
Despite the beauty of the Catheral, Aliya instead was more attracted to the breakdancing show on the street (maybe it's men?? ) When she was finally dragged away fom the breakdancing, we went to the Royal palace with beautiful gardens- stunning! Royal family there were well known for their love for butterfly, so we went to the house of Butterfly. Feeling the sticky, balmy and humid air, seeing different beautiful colourful butterflies twittering and gently brushing against us was an amazing and overwhelming experience.
We then went to Leopald Museum, which houses Schiele and Klimt's famous works amongst othere artists. There Cam and Rika attempted to educate Ali about the world of arts (!) Ali's mummy, prepared to be shocked when Ali opens her mouth back in England!- Rika and Cam's certain powerful influences have gotten Ali...
AS the art world enthralled us in, we forgot the time. When the lights begins to dim, we realised we stayed well past the closing time- our art teachers must be proud of us! Wanting to see the infamous Waterhouse, which closes at seven, ( it's six now!) we decided to run and try to get to see it before it closes. We ran, ran, ran, ran, ran, ran, ran, ran, filling the streets with our pounding and panting panting, and the echos of ' go go go' 'left' 'right' and ' hurry up hurry up!' Rika amazed Cam and ali, as previously thought as very slow, actually can run! Sadly this miracle soon passed...
We arrived at the Waterhouse around ten to seven. Orginally, staffs refused to let us us, but seeing our red sweating faces and our pleads, they decided to take mercy and let us to take a quick look around the house for free!, which by the way, was beautiful and well worth all that running!
Exshauted and still sweating, we collasped at the cafe nearbly and there, we consumered so so so so so many drinks, that in the end cafe owners really love us having made them many profits!
Back to accommadation and to the beds! zzzzzzzzzzzzz
Next day, we caught the train to Salzburg, the land, where the hills are filled with sounds of music! oh la la la la! Our accommadation there, as the hostels are bloody really expensive, we decided to camp! The campsite was really nice and friendly. We took lunch in a sweet old fashioned quaint pubhouse, where Cam and Rika ordered plates of creams only whilst ali ate ice cream. Filled up,we walked up and around the hills with cows. In a green field, we laid there, and talked, slept, read, agreeing that cows were certainly very prettty and saw the sun setting which was really beauitful.
The sky darkens, we walked back to camp, and decided to have a midnight feast with only a torch! Our feast were chocolate bars- bounty, bounty, bounty, bounty, bounty, and...err, bounty! When we finished our feast, we were really tired, and to our dismay, it was 10pm- so our illusion of having a midnight feast was gone! It's still a feast neverless though!
Next day, refreshed from early sleep, we went to Mozart's birthplace which have suprassed our expections- we thought it was more likely a dusty museum but it was quite a surreal and very fascainting museum.
A look around the old town which was beauiful, we then caught a bus to the palace. We geot off at a point, and walked at a building which we thought to be the palace. To our dismay, it was a graveyard! opps! So we walk to the direction a sweet old lady shakily points toward, thinking we will be at the palace very soon. We walked, walked, walked asborbing in the beauitful scencry but no sights of the palace... nup...no sights... ah yes.. nup.... ewhere's bloody is it?...?..... nup...???.....it's rewallly hot!... are we near there?.... nup.......it's really far!!......where????......nup......ah!
After 50 minutes of walking, we finally arrived at the palace, all sweating and sticky, and for some reason (we think it was Ali...) a wasp kept following us. Cam kept us highly amusing with her many attempted scare at the wasp with no success!
At the Palace, we went to see trick foundations. Thinking the trick foundations were some foundations with fab water sprouts or soimething like that, we walked around, oh what a nice statue, which suddeenly splurted with water, which left us really shocked and soaked! The grounds all over were like that, in the end we were really paraniod and treaded around really carefully, but alas! we very frequenly got soaked and were really wet! Very funny though!
On the way back, after the long long walk to the palace, we think we were really sensible, and decided to get the bus back. But to our horrors, the bus was really crowded and hunid, which reminded us very much of London. We were squashed, prodded, sweared at and fro and were subjected to horrific smells of BO!
Finally we arrived back at the old town, where we rested and have a long talk and educating Ali about classical culture... Out of blue, gladitors ( we think!?!), at the top of the building opposite us, waved and saluted at us!!!?
We sang our way back to the campsite, soon the streets were filled with really high notes Rika sang, leaving poor Cam and Ali embrassed and really regretting asking Rika to sinG!
We crashed onto bed, only to wake up at three to catch a train to Czech Republic where Ali will entertain with the tales of our adventures in Prague next!
