hi there. In krabi at the moment well just outside at the coast at a place called Ao Nang. Lovely place and alot quieter than other places we have been. Went on tour yesterday to James Bond Island which was great - The Man with The Golden Gun! Otherwise we have been just enjoying beach life not doing much apart from sitting at the pool or beach reading and eating. Hi everyone, Well we arived on Koh Samui on Friday night after 12 hours of travelling and 2 plane journeys! Never been on a wee propellor plane, think it helped my fear of flying! It was quite fun, expect it was so small, that one of the other passenger's went into the cockpit looking for the toilet! Gillon and I found it very funny!! We are staying in the Samui beach resort for 5 nights, basic but clean. With only one very large cockroach! That gillon did well...

hi in laos at the moment and boy did we have fun getting her. we left chanig mai and got a bus up to th e thai / lao border before getting a boat over the next day. we were met by a guide who weas meant to take us to the slow boat for the 2 day trip down the mekong to loung prabang but this guy did a very good job at persuading us to get a "fast boat"aka speed boat for an extra cost, there were 4 of us easily persuaded that 6 hours was better than two...

hi hope you are all well and the weather in scotland is a bit cooler than this. i told you i would miss the cold rain and its only been 4 days. sitting here sweating writing this. anyway arrived in bangkok and was a bit taken aback as was jenni. it is massive busy, noisy smoggy - manic! got to the sanctuary of the hilton and chilled out that night. the hilton was nice but pricy compared to eating elsewhere. it was very weird though everyone opening doors for you...
