Fiona Hi there hope you're enjoying the last of your travels. We had a great holiday without the kids in Applecross, Arisaig & Ardtoe and we have tans!! Well maybe weatherbeaten! Shona is in California too, 5500ft up in the Sierra Nevada near a place called Visalia, she is incommunicado though, no mobile or email which she is finding tough. She's at Camp America. She was off last week & did the LA, Hollywood thing and went to San Diego which she loved so you should try that if you get the chance. Gavin had an awesome time in Mongolia - just like Scotland apparently but with dirt track roads!! See you when you get back. Love Fiona Max & Gavin (Shona too!!)

Fiona Penfold Hi Guys NZ look amazing will have to give it a go next time we go Oz - possibly 2010. Shona is now in sunny California - up in the mountains with Camp America, she has a week training then the kids arrive - don't know what'll be worse the kids or the bears yes bears! apparently if you see one you just clap yours hands and they go away - aye right! Just wait til she sees one then she'll not be so blase! it wont just be the bears that **** in the woods! Gavin is off to Mongolia for nearly 4 weeks on Sunday, he's doing one of those expeditions with school, they'll be going to the Gobi desert & they will be there for a big festival with horse racing & archery where the judges stand behind the targets.................! Exciting stuff. So we are child free for a wee while, we are off up to Applecross then maybe to Arisaig before going to Ardtoe for a week - looking forward to it, just hope this weather keeps up.
