21st feb - On arrival in Coffs Harbour, a minibus picked us up and took us all to a lookout point and pointed out where everything was. On arrival we dumped stuff in our room then headed to the pool and played volleyball - whilst in the pool i saw who i thought was Phil, one of the lads from Jersey who i met in Sydney, i then saw Chris and knew it was them - chatted to them over dinner which was nice to catch up. The girls and i were eating rather quickly as we only had an hour to drink before the minibus left taking people into town. On the bus we met 3 irish lads, David, Niall and and Connell - we spent the night drinking with them and then dancing - we drank a hell of a lot and had a fun fun night.
22nd feb - Woke up this morning to find someone in bed beside me..... turns out i had climbed into Bex's double bed at some point during the night, she had woken up in the night to find someones feet by her bed - the layout of the room was pretty sqauashed and to this day we still dont know how i ended up in her bed! its ratehr funny! We took bodyboards to the beach but did nothing but lie there - it was hot and we had no energy so we headed back to hostel and had an afternoon on the sofa watching dvds.
23rd feb - the hostel offers free canoe hire so today we took it out on the creek - it had 3 seats so was perfect for us. At first it was really hard as we were against the tide and its hard canoeing with 3 people as you zigzag across the creek! On th ereturn leg of the journey it was a lot more pleasant. After lunch Bex and i headed down to the beach as the hostel was organising beach volleyball but not many people turned up so we sunbathed for an hour or so before heading back to hostel to pick up Sion as we were all going to see the 'famous' big banana! Just as we got there it was closing up but hey we got the pics! The hostel had an all you can eat bbq tonight so that was pretty yummy! After tea we watched the film House Bunny.
24th feb - Leaving Coffs today - Bex and Sion left early this morning - dont think our paths will cross again, so i had a day to kill. I spent the day reading and sunbathing by the pool...next stop Byron Bay.
