Went up the Westfield Tower which gave panorama view of city and beyond. Later walked through Hyde Park to the Anzac memorial , very beautiful and peaceful. Then visited the Australia Museum ,informative and interesting , a cool break from the afternoon heat ! Had well earned rest.!!
Nine pm , Just saw the family fireworks followed by a meal at the Holiday Inn . Lots of revellers on the streets around Kings Cross . Decided to watch midnight display from the safety of our room. Both of us are tired after another long day. Outside The festivities went on well into the night, sirens and well humoured sounds could be heard until early morning .
