Waking up way to early after sleeping in a ¨room¨ (more like a hall) with about 14 beds. El Chalten is a small village surrounded by huge rocky mountains with icy tips.It seems like the end of the world (much more than Ushuaia) as it appears there's no way in or out of it... El Calafate is a lovely touristic city. Prices are high and restaurants are well decorated and inviting... it´s so different than being in authentic cities with no specific tourist attractions, but I still like it. We decided to spend just 2.5 days at this place as there´s only 1 main thing to do - the exploding glacier.This natural phenomenon is one of the most amazing in the world.
