We awoke once more to a listing ship - As mentioned by Lord Gibbs of the Foreign Office, we have been trained well and a crazy sea doesnt bother us too much. We had breakfast and mooched around the ship - again we werent allowed to go astern and the French Crew had now sealed off the entrances properly after the Army lads stunts & removing their temporary signs. It was fun to watch the swells and yes they were very big, the ship would sometimes hit a big one ...

At last, we're leaving Blighty. The weather doesnt disappoint, we stay on deck for an hour and the French crew tell us we cant stay out here as it's going to get rough. We've lobbed the bags in and so now have a wander around the ship. It's smaller that the ferries to Holland but it's okay to while a couple of hours away. We then decide to stay in the main bar/entertainment area, which looks like something from Star Trek....it's good fun, they have some guitarist...

Well, it was quite exciting just getting to Plymouth, the rain and wind was something else. First off was a bunch of football fans getting on board the first train and being obnoxious and belligerent. Then a bit more civilised down to Taunton Then the train got delayed by an hour due to high winds all trains were stopped to let the storm pass. We eventually got into Plymouth around 8pm.....so usual story, sling the bags in the room and have a wander. We were righ...

You may or may not have wondered why the Prague Blog stopped so abruptly, pretty much we made a hasty retreat back to Blighty as Jayne's leg was getting worse and walking was becoming a major problem - The staff at The Hotel we stayed in were next to useless - did they have a House Doctor we could call? No.... Is there a Hospital you could recommend ....No...... so what with all this super efficiency going on, the decision was made to get to the airport and blag ...

Day two of our visit and Jayne,s leg is too stiff to go walking...something that you pretty much have to do here, so Jayne is confined to barracks, well more like solitary in the sweatbox. Grant and myself receive orders to go see the castle, so off we go, first stop though is a traditional Czech Breakfast, this involves spicy sausage things with cabbage, horesradish and mustard and of course two litres of the local Pilsner, We then head up the hill to the castle...
