Thank you for all who have followed the trip.I was so moved by the warm, happy greeting we received at Perth Airport last night from parents and friends.I have updated some entries with photos and filled in spaces. Early starts have been the order of the day, so our first day in Singapore ended up being no different. A European style breakfast was a new thing after two weeks of simple food.... but one not knocked back by the pilgrims. Then into maxi taxies to Changi Jetty, a 35 minute drive. Followed by a 15 minute Bumboat trip to Pulua Ubin (Pulua means island). Our boat captain looked like a Malay pirate but the sensation of being on the water amongst so many other craft ...

Good Morning Everyone.Its 6.30 am and I've just stirred everyone from a deep sleep to be at breakfast by 6.45 am. Today we are off to Pulua Ubin Island for a cycle tour. As the title suggests, there have been First World problems, but hopefully by the end of the day we will be written and pictorially up to date.Everyday has been "full." We left TDG at 8 am. There had been many tears the night before following the cultural night, and many returned as we farewelled the ladies who had cared for us for the past eight days. Godo, was again to be our driver and so with disco music thumping in the bus we set forth on the return trip to Yangon.
