Arrived early, walked to hostel. Place is very pretty, no graffiti at all. Clean streets good vibe not too busy. Got into the room and found keith on a bunk met him in Santa Monica and caught up in Vegas, so some good luck. He was Hugh Grants younger brother I swear. That charming english stutter. Went for a bike ride to coronda island with him nicole and ricky. Nicole was a free lance reporter, and been reporting on the election, homeless and few other issues. So had plenty of good obversations about the states. We all had lunch at a flash as resturant for only 12 buck each… very lush!

The gaslamp district was alive everynight of the week and didn't even see it on the weekend. Just people out, clubs pumping, very livily. Had a day trip next to ocean beach. Hasseled some english traveler who had a ball and played some soccer. Next went to the Balboa park. Found a bowling club and asked really nicely to play bowls. It was a good afternoon

Got picked up by lillia, couch surfing master mind of San Diego, Dropped us off with some of her mates. Matt the canadian living in the states, was a big fan on Frank Lloyd Wright. Had a whole lot of books AMAZING archectiture. A house called 'Fallening Water'. He actually travelled around to see these places and house he designed, all in all 400 or so. We had meixcan and went out to a bar in old town to see a band was good sound kinda funk jazz rock.
