well hey!!! i didnt expect to be writing another journal entry on here from bangkok but ive got a couple of hours to kill and also today is pretty influential...me and maz go on our separate trips from today!! she heads into cambodia and i fly to south africa. cannot believe we are this stage already - it really has flown by and it feels very surreal to be at this bit!! for a start i cant believe its half way through december...im looking out the windown right now and its absolutely scorching out there!! busy streets, tuk tuks everywhere and so many market sellers! but no signs of the normal things fortbis time of year. its amazing to be somewhere so culturally and religiousy different. amazing! especially at christmas time. we had our very own christmas day yesterday!! swapped present and had pizza hut for lunch in the hotel!! mmm! met up with a friend last night and had a couple of drinks on my last night in thailand. this tour went so fast and the last couple days have flown...my flight is at 7pm so im guna head off shortly. got a 3 hour flight to hong kong, then an hours wait and then the 13 hour stint to johannesburg!! but i am so excited about seeing scott, hayley and the boys - been 3 years since the last time so its bound to be a good trip!!! and of course then i get to see mum and dad next week! ive just had a tx off dad - its 6:30am there and hes off to work i think. bless him! i just replied saying we will have a braai and a beer waiting for him!! should be a ball!! but as for today, i hate this feeling!! just waiting around for a flight so it feels like a waste of time and also knowing that you've got to say another goodbye in a little while. that is by far the worst bit for me - the goodbyes at the end of something amazing. i think its just me - i hate them!!!!!! ; ) i know we will see each other in a few weeks but after 4 months side by side i think im guna be a little lost for the first few days!! wouldnt have changed a thing about the past few months. its been the best 4 months and i just wish i could re live it or carry on!!! ; ) not that im greedy or anything!! ; ) i best wrap this up and go get my bags...my trip isnt over yet so i will be back on here to update from the land of the lion!!! see you very soon and hope all is good there...lots of love, georgie x x x
