Hello!!! well we are safe and sound in Airlie Beach!!! sounds awful but this place could be mistaken for anywhere within the europe clubbing scene!!! ; ) its lovely and we are making the most of a couple of days to chill and rake in the sun (even though im not getting any browner!!!) rubbish!! ; ) but it has a main strip whicj is shops by day and clubs by night...good fun but definately accommodatin the english traveller rather than the aussie surfer dude!!! we arrived in the earley hours of yesterday morning and stayed the night in a hostel - we hadnt booked anywhere (only adds to the adventure when you arrive at 1am and no have bed for the night!!!) ; ) so we took what we could find!! checked into the YHA yesterday and ventured out to explore. weve booked ourselevs onto a sailing cruise tomorrow-  sailing round the whitsundays!!! cant wait!! thats exactly what everyone comes here to do - see the magnificent islands and take a cruise for a few days...we are doing a day one but i cant wait to see it!! will post the pics...its meant to be stunning!! so just a quick update but hope all is well back there...i had great news from back home last week...and i hope they dont mind me publishing it on here...; ) but my brother and his girlfriend got engaged!!! im so happy and cant wait to see you and celebrate properly!!! love you both stacks...see you soon...much love, Georgie x x x
