Ben and I had an incredible two weeks in Thailand; exploring the south east islands Koh Samui and Koh Tao. We hired scooter (the most common form of transport here in Thailand) to get around the islands and of course I left the driving in Ben's capable hands! This definitely gave is a cultural insight into the daily life of the locals.

On Koh Tao we stayed in an excellent villa slightly out of the main town with a breathtaking view, owned by Alan and Heidi at Koh Star Villas which I am sure Ben would also recommend if you are planning a trip. Koh Tao is a place to visit if you are planning on diving. Ben and I completed our open water scuba diving course with Roctopus which I am sure will come in handy over the coming months.

Saying goodbye to Ben was the hardest thing I have had to do but I am sure the next 6 months will fly by! Next stop Borneo...
