We had an early start to the day in Potosi, as we were going to visit the infamous Potosi mine, situated in Cerro Potosi (a 4800m mountain). Amanda woke us up in time to see the sunrise over the salt flats, and even though it was unbelievably cold, it was totally worth it. The small lake created an awesome mirror effect of the volcano and surrounding hills, and even better, the flamingos who were still sleeping on one leg in the middle of the lake.
