Sorry its been ages - I have been mad busy and there are just not enough hours in the day - So I am logged on at 12 pm trying to update this, so that you can all see what I am up to!!!!! Well we left Vang Viene and travelled to Ventiene - we had heard bad things about this place and that you would only need to spend 1 day there. We ended up staying there for 3 days - it was just so full of the most amazing things. As the captial of Laos you exepct it to be very similar to the places you have already been , but maybe slightly bigger - nope it was HUGE!!!!!!! Stayed in a lovely guest house and found a fantastic cafe - The Full Moon Cafe - if you ever fancied going - that did the best breakfast since namkins house!!!! Anyway cant you tell i am straving - talking about food again!!!! Spent a few days travelling round in a tuk tuk to different pats of the town - buddha park, the musical fountain that didnt work on both occasions that we went, day market - where i got myself some fisherman pants so i am now a proper traveller - thinking about getting my hair platted!!!!hehehe lol, some very gold temple that is meant to contain a hair of buddha inside - hmmmmmm!!!!! Its hard to remember everything that we saw - and its soso late!!!!! I will put the pictures on tomorrow so that you can see for yourself!!!! We left Laos and Nic and Matt behind and off we went out into the world alone! 24 hour party bus for us to Hanoi, not the most comfortable place to spend 24 hours but not too bad. We got to the boarder at 4 am and had to wait till it opened at 7 am. it then took us 3 hours for them to stamp our passport 2 times! It was so so silly! But we made it and in time for the football - come on Liverpool - you are the mighty reds!!!! lol. Got to the bar with 5 mins to spare - just enough to find a seat and get a nice cold beer!!!!!! Today we have got into the full swing of vietnam - walking alot - saves having to argue with taxi drivers - who hit you if you do not use them!!!! (dont ask). been to a circus today - didnt really like it they used animals in the wrong way and I am sure that elephants are not meant to be able to sit on a small stool at cross their legs!!! Tomorrow we are going on a full walking tour of Hanoi - hopefully we will be able to find some food soon, its really silly - thousands of shops and stalls selling everything you could ask for from paper to candles to mini chickens in cans - but no real food!!!!!!!
