hello from sunny sydney... firstly would just like to say that today is the first time i have worn a jumper in 2and a half months and it feels wierd. never thought id say it but oz is cold !! am so climatised to thailand degrees that the 25degrees here has really hit me as a nasty shock ! cant stop shivering...wierd.. anyways, we arrived in Sydney on monday after a long and tedious flight. it is totally not what i expected it to be. bondai beach which is where were staying is more like a cornish town than the Australia i had pictured. the city is awesome though. Faz ( yes...Ive been reunited with him...again !!)and i went on a day trip to the harbour bridge and opera house. they really are stunning, then we sat and had a picnic in the famous gardens- v romantic!! we have been here nearly a week now, finding our feet and getting accustomed to the chilled way of life. i have to say this is my idea of paradise, the sun is always shining, the place is clean, good places to eat and go out, good shopping-everything about it is awesome. ( not to mention the ridiculous amounts of HOT surfers !!!) were heading to byron bay tommorrow for a few days before heading to surfers paradise which is near brisbane, where there is the best theme park in the world- so so exciting !! then back down to sydney for a couple of nights before heading to Christchurch NZ on 20th.. keep you posted. ps happy brithday to anyone who has had a bday while ive been away-its def bday season at the mo xxxxxxxx
