Hey there!!

So...we´ve battled the bulls and made our way through Sangrea and have finally made it to Valencia!! We´ve been on a bit of a whirlwind journey through Madrid, Saville and Granada but have come out smiling.

Madrid was a busy city with absolutely fantastic art gallery´s. We saw Piccasso and Dali and that famous one of Mary Tudor thats always in the history books!!! Very excited about that one!! We walked everywhere and Loll forced me to go into Highstreet stores as apparently I look like a hippie now!!!

Saville was a beautiful place and after getting horribly lost with our bags at the start we found our cosy hostel. It really wasn´t my fault about the getting lost thing, our map didn´t have street names on it!!! Honestly!! We went to see a Flamenco show which left my jaw touching the floor. Incredible!! Fab singer, fab guitarist, fab dancer. It was so good it made me want to have a go so thats saying something!! We also met with some really nice people so we went with them and had a couple od drinks late at night, as the Spanish do of course!!

We spent much of the rest of our time in Seville walking around the beautiful quaint streets and climbing the cathedral tower...excellent views!

Granada is probably our most favourite place! It was surrounded by mountains and was just gorgeous! We stayed in a really hippie hostel where everyone was alternative. I obviously fitted in, what with me being a hippie now and Loll even liked it after the initial shock. She didn´t even mind dancing in the courtyard to the music in her mind like the others were! We met some great people here and we went everywhere together, to the palace, markets and so on. We love Granada!!!

Ok, so, we spent a whole 9.5 hours travelling yesterday to Valencia and then nearly 2 hours doing laundary so not the most enjoyable day (although an Italian girl offered us some of her spag boll, which was divine when we reached our hostel) but nevertheless we are here and apparently there is one of the famous fiastas occuring today amongst much partying. We´re off to check that out after our cous cous!
