The Crazy Adventures of Gemma Jean
Hey there all,
Arrived in Brazil yesterday and its looking good so far. We went to the famous Iguassu falls yesterday, which boast the largest amount of waterfalls in one place, around 200 I think.
Unfortunately today my besie friend on this trip Caroline found out that her grandad sadly passed away so she's off home tomorrow morning. It's going to be a huge loss to the group and I'm going to miss her so so so much but she has to go. I thought I would mention it on this site as I know the Swampy lot check it and would like to know.
We're now making our way towards Rio but I think I'll be popping into Paraguay tomorrow to buy a camera as mine has really seen the end of its days. Up and coming events include an absail into a canyon and then free fall (still attatched of course) for 75 meters, woo hoo. We'll also be parana fishing and river snorkaling, as well as going on a short cruise. Sounds good doesn't it!!
Starting to think about the next stage of my journey now to New Zealand. I read my itinery yesterday and got excited. Can't believe how fast time is going, I've actually been travelling for nearly three months now!! Crazy!
I've got loads of pictures to out on the site but haven't remembered my cable so hopefully I'll do that soon so you can see whats been cracking off and also check out my new group.
Lyd, congrats on passing your sign language exam, fab stuff!! I'll expect some silent conversations when I get home then!! Good luck on the house too, keep me posted!
Paddy, I've seen Amy and she's looking totally recovered now so don't worry as I know you will be. Hows the accommodation search in Belfast going?
ok guys, I'll get those pics sorted.
Missing you all
Gem xxxxxx
