Finally finished my rural work and now in Sydney. What a journey, 14 hours cooped up in a van, on bumpy country roads followed by hills and more hills. Currently staying at my friend Lauren's apartment. My first day in the city was a little hectic, as Renmark is a little deserted, and Sydney is manic. Lauren has been a great tour guide, we have already been to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. The atmosphere around Sydney Harbour is great, so much going on and the view is to die for. City life is so.... expensive, so going to look for a temporary city job, whilst I enjoy a bit of normality and take in the sights.
