Hi Guys

I am leaving Cairns tomorrow to go down to Mission Beach so might as well get this blog out of the way then i am up to date just have the photos to do then. When i arrived here i felt so home sick, because i was used to being in Asia moving countries threw me for six. Got better though. There are loads of magazines here that have vouchers in them for free food or well cheap food so we just kept taking them and using the vouchers to save money lol needs must. There is a really nice bar called the woolshed and it has lovely food i had pork and mash and veg and you have never seen some much food. I gave up before i even tried there was way too much but well worth the money $0.00 lol We did a trip out to the great barrier reef and i did a dive which was so scary. I had to take my mouth piece out and i paniced, my ears were killing me (like landing on a plane) we all had to hook up as it was an introductory dive and i was trying to be as close to the surfice as i could. The bubbles are annoying when you breath out so that was weird and also they tell you if you hold your breath your lungs will explode. I was concentrating more on breathing than anything else. I used so much air more than what is normal i was breathing too much basically. The tank is proper heavy and they stick weights on you and i couldnt move. I have decided to give it another try, when i go on the boat trip on the whitsunday islands i have picked a dive boat where you get a free dive so ill see how i get on there. People keep telling me it gets easier everytime you go down so i might as well give it another go. We have had a night out in cairns and it is good but to be honest Cairns is just for going out drinking there isnt much more to do.

Me and woody have gone our seperate ways the long and short of it is he went off with two lasses and left me then left me a note saying me michelle and Marie are going to Port Douglas if you want to come. I didnt realise we were travelling seperately but never mind. I have been on my own i think about 3 days and at first i was quite frightened. Being in a strange country that is massive on your own is quite daunting but i am getting used to it and have met loads of people. One girl Laura really nice irish lass is heading to Sydney for Christmas but is coming back up so we are going to keep in touch and meet up. Ive met people from all over the world and havent really been on my own at all. Only reason i am on my own now is because i am so hung over from last night and couldnt face meeting up with them all again when i have to travel tomorrow. Its not so bad being on your own really because you meet people all the time. This guy in the street just started talking to me about pens (i dont have a clue why) but i humoured him and jsut went along with the pen conversation then made my excuses and left haha but it is really easy meeting people. Cairns is a nice place but there is nothing really to do except go out and drink or use as a base to get places. I think that is about it really my first week in OZ quite a few more to go and the rest of this month i am busy with trips and everything so i have loads to look forward to.
