Railay Initial reaction when you approach this island is panic, the east beach is full of construction. There is a pier underneath the water where the longboat drops you but nothing to mark the sides so one poor girl took a bad fall with her full pack into the sea...gutted!  It's a quietish town so headed up to the hotel recommended (highland resort) and although it was no phi phi it was a great room and good price which is hard to find in Railay. Chiang Mai Well I thought it may quieten down up in chiang Mai but clearly I was mistaken. A cool night at the night bazaar followed by some great nights out with random people from all over the world.
