well, if that didnt make me the best diver in the world, i dont know what will! te liveaboard was great fu, and i met some swedish people and some yaks hwo were young and nice too which is always good.
so we headed out there to the similan islands overnight, and then started diving on the 3rd very early in the morning, starting at 7;00 am everyday, we did four dives a day! thats about four hours a day diving.
I have improved so much as a diver, i can float and swim nearly exactly where i want, and I use a lot less air now (which is key as you get more time underwater).
I have now seen so much stuff its unreal, all the clourful fish were wicked, and i saw a couple of bigger ones, though none of the ones i was bragging about!
I did however today, see a huge school of cheron barracuda, which are about 1.5 metres in length each, and seeing about forty of them hunting was quite a sight.
i also did a lot of night dives, which allowed me to see things like lion fish, scorpion fish, and lots of col little shrimps,a dn some spider crabs, though not s big as the ones in spain! plus lobster etc.
but basically for the whole trip it pissed it down with rain, and with high wids which meant geting back onto the boat was not only dangerous, but rather knackering.
that said, the thai guys on board were little soldiers, helping uswith everything, most importantly the cleaning of ear andstuff, so all we had to do was get in, and then get out!
we at after every dive, whihch was good as the food was nice, with plenty of choices.
the ship also had a dvd player which allowed me to catch up on some western titles ive missed.
all in all a good experience, and i tihnk i shall definately have to come back at teh start of the high season in the future, to see some it with the sun on it!
after this, i plan to sleep, as that was rare on the boat, and then i will head north, hopefully to find mossy, and if not, make my whistle stop tour of laos and camodia's greatest before headin home!
love to all in england where the whether is probably btter than here!
