Oh mY GOD!!!! that was the suingle coolest trip ive ever been on (sorry parents)
it was amazing, the sun was out luckily, apparently it had been raining solidly for the prevuious three weeks of trips, I have unfortunately very few photos to uploasd as the good ones were taken on a waterproof disposable, but ill try to piant a vivid picture!
basically on the forst day it did rain a little, and we went snorkelling at our forst bay. The coral was literally ahlf a metre from me as it was low tide and the fiah were litlle and colourful, swimming around in there little schools.
But the best bit was the middle day, blaring sunshine, and we went to two bays, one called manta ray bay. Here the crew took their dingy out and fead a little bread to the fish. So they threw the bread around us, and there were about 500 hundered multicoloured fish swimming around us about 2cm from our masks, and some really huge diosile ones that we could stroke! it was amazing, I couldnt belive this was actually happening with me there wiht my camera. By the way ill probably send the photos home on a cd!
as for the boat, went went on a 67ft catamaran called "avatar" which was epic for sailing,as it was really fast with next to no keal. And the food!! amazing food, better than anywhere i had eaten on the mailand! and healthy ! suprise surprise im eating healthy food. Then when the food was done with we'd sit together and play drinking games, the best of which was slaps, best p[layed with a lively french couple on ther honeymoon. Basically, at certain points in the game you nominate someone to "get f***ed" (again sorry rents and granparents!), but instead they rather excitedly said "f*** you!". I could only assume they were still bitter about the rugby world cup or something!
but I could go on describing it all day and my words would no do it justice! when the photos are sorted oyou will be blown away.
next stop is Townsville, where the others are planning to go to magnetic isl;and, but i think ill give it a miss as it seems a bit hyped up!
Dad, hope the puppy is growing nice and big, and that twiglet is not getting any bigger!
on a more serious note I found out my mate Harry POlhill was in a really bad car crash, and has had 4 operations and 18hours of surgery to sacve his arm, which according to him has gone perfectly, but for anyone who knows him a note to him would be appreciated.
But I hope everyone else is well and enjoying britain and not getting to strssed about work etc. drop me an email I would love to hear from everybody!
Love to all
love George xxx
