MONDAY 23RD/TUESDAY 24TH APRIL 2007

Went to stay on a farm in the middle of the outback (sort of) in Myella. Arrived & got geared up in ultra trendy farm clothes & riding boots & went horse riding for a few hours. Gaz rode "rebel" & i rode "Gadget''. was a bit shaky at 1st as my horse was very stubborn but got there in the end. rode through the many acres of farmland & trotted at some points although my knees failed to hold out - the impact being stronger than i anticipated. After washing & grooming the horses we had a motorbike off-track riding lesson. Gaz having rode a fair few bikes picked it up naturally but i struggled a bit cause i didn't feel safe. sson got the hang of it though & even enjoyed it by the end of the day. gaz loved it of course. we all drove out to watch sunset together which was pretty cool although we got a bit of a telling off when we got back çause we took the dirt track home which the farmers dont like u doing after sunset - oooops! Had a gorgeous BBQ at the night with the steak coming from one of the cows they herded! Lush! Had some home made beer then early to bed for every1 - farm works pretty tiring.

Woke up on the Tuesday feeling very sore & stiff! the lads went out on the bikes to rear in the horses while i milked a cow. managed to get quite a bit of milk but u have to tug a lot harder than u imagine.i was better at Gaz at it though when he tried later on! Gaz went horseriding again but i was aching all over from yesterday so i gave it a miss & fed the kangaroos instead. Gaz fed a wallaby when he got back & then made an enemy when he let it out of its sack. An older tourist called him a bloody idiot & took a sever disliking to him. We later worked out it was because gaz had corrected her on baby roos which she hadn't liked one bit! We then all had a crack at the lassoo & the whip & the Gaz-hater struck again when she curtly remarked to Gaz - ÿou were suprisingly good at that!" thought gaz was gonna smack her lol!
