An early start on the road to Kompong Cham starts with breakfast at the bakery.

We are only in Kompong Cham for one night as it is serving as a stopover, the halfway point between Phnom Pehn and Siem Reap.In the afternoon we took a tuk tuk tour of the town, it's a very eerie place, a lot of residents have made a fortune from rubber and moved out to Phnom Pehn, over the past ten years the population as dropped by 150,000 people to just over 50,000!

The tuk tuk first took us to Phnom Pros and Phnom Srei (Man Hill & Woman Hill).Phnom Pros has a temple on top, phnom Srei is slightly higher with a Buddha at the peak.There was a service taking place in the temple, so I didn't venture inside.The whole area was pretty grim, dirty, beggars and street sellers, monkeys in the trees and malnourished cows wandering around the tombs.As we wondered through the tombs, a wedding ceremony was finishing, so as you do we joined their wedding photos! - Very strange.

We left Phnom Pros/Srei in our tuk tuks and headed to a Buddhist monastery/orphanage.The orphans put on a show for us, demonstrating traditional Cambodian dances.Quite slow, but very impressive.After being shown around the orphanage and having hundreds of photos, the kids love to see themselves on the digital cameras.

We got back to our hotel on the banks of the Mekong River, I sat on the bank under the shade of a huge tree and chilled out sipping a traditional drink made from Sugar Cane.

We take another public bus to Siem Reap tomorrow, our last stop in Cambodia!My time in Cambodia has flown by and it's nearly the end of my tour, soon be going it alone!!!
