After leaving La Paz we endure a 10 hour bus journey to our next stop, Potosi. I would normally be fine with this but today I have a stinking head cold and the bus has no toilet and the air con is broken. Very soon you feel like an over ripening banana in a hot box.

We make it to Potosi but by now I'm in the deepest throws of man flu and so I spend the two days we have here just resting while Ruth and our group head for the silver mine Potosi is famous for. Tomorrow (16th Feb) we head for the amazing salt flats of Bolivia. I pray I feel better by then.
