We are in Vientiane. We got here on Saturday afternoon. We went and got food by the river Saturday night, it was lovely local Lao food. On Sunday we went for a walk around the city. Its not a very big city so it wouldnt normally take long, but it is absolutely baking hot so we were gone pretty much all day. We went tubing twice. The bars are mad we got to go swimming in the river from bar to bar, It was warm not cold at all. The second time we went we thought we would do the whole river back to town. We ran out of bars and had to be picked up by a man in a canoe as walking in the middle of the river wasnt realy working. He said it was another 4 kilometers back to town and there wasnt a path.
