Happy New Year!! Today we have arrived in Phuket - It is horrible!! Package holiday Chav central! Oh well only one day here which we spent on the beach! Kates is already Brown as a berry and G getting there apart from a slight peeling situation! We did a tour around Koh Phi Phi yesterday which was interesting!

We loved seeing all of the islands but the tour overall was quite crowded and at some parts strange! However we did get to go to Maya Bay where the film 'The Beach' was filmed and Monkey Bay! Maya Beach was amazing it had the clearest bluest water you have ever seen! The sand was alaso the whitest and softest! And all of this was set by a rainforest mountainous area which is protected so it should remain untouched! We then went to monkey Bay which was also cool as m,onkeys live on the beach and you could buy bananas to give to them! some of them even had little babies tucked on their tummies - so cute! one woman was trying to chase a monkey baby with some food and the dad got aggressive and chased her teeth bared - hahaha so funny stupid woman, that put her off! We also got to do a bit of snorkelling however where they took us the water was absolutely filled with jellyfish some the size of my head, we didnt fancy snorkelling then so we sunbathed on the boat! Overall the tour had al;ot to live up to after the sunset tour in krabi but we still enjoyed it!!

We spent the evening walking to tonsai beach on phi phi by a path created up the hillfront by tree roots, such hard work and we definately earned dinner!! Kates has turned into a bit of a label babe! she got some ray ban suynnies for 4pounds and a pair of havaianas for 3!!

Anyway we are sat in our hostel in phuket, slightly disturbed after being pushed along into a ping pong/banana/baby turtle show!! VERY VERY odd experience! These are freely avaialbe in phuket it seems! Overall we do not wish to come back here really! Tomorrow we are catching our flight to singapore, so early night tonight, in bunk beds!!!
