The airport was lovely...12 hours we spent here....great stuff....

Boring - we left straight away...as did everyone else and now in Bangkok... Perth here we come....

The worst 6 hour mini bus ride i have ever taken saw us get dropped off about 5 km outside of the town of Vang Vieng. This is done so the little tuk tuk men can fleece you of a couple of thousand Kip so instead we put two fingers to them all and decided to walk...which infact was although a very hot a sweeaty experience a very nice experience as being sat on the death trap minibus on the moutain and pot holed roads of Northern Laos was enough sitting down for all...

After a 5 hour trip to the border with Laos which is on the Mekong we arrived to spend our last night in Thailand. The evening involved watching a film in a bar before an early night, as we had a long day ahead of us the next morning, which involved a speed boat, which we had been told by numerous people to not bother getting, as it is a little dangerous. Chang Mai was next.... The trip up involved a 8 hour coach journey ato bangkok, where we stayed for one night in the Swasedee and bumped into the scottish girls from Krabi, Obviously we tucked into a few buckets and beers on the Koh San Road and the the next day we picked up our suits from the tailors ...hmm hello ladies ....and then we chilled out in the afternoon before we got the night train up to Chang Mai...
