Woke up at ridiculous O clock and met nelin for boat tour of inle. Boat cold. Gab tired. Bum sore. Arrived at 5 day market wanted to buy everything, Laura said no. Then went to lotus silk factory. Whistles scarf nicer than anything on offer. Then attended lacquer/cigar factory on stilts. This was followed by visit to 'floating garden '. Not many flowers but funny vegetable ?what. Arrived by night bus to inle. JJ freakin express insisted on making us disembark for 30 mins just as I was falling asleep. Minimal sleep occurred thereafter. Staying at sandalwood hotel, flies everywhere, a timeless classic. Had a nap and wandered around to find wifi and inform individuals at home that we are still alive. Fell asleep at 9.30 last night so got up at 8.30. Met pretentious edit from NYC at breakfast then met Californian-NYC Dan who asked to join in waterfall trip, very worried this may be a let down but said yes. Offered too much breakfast. Nam gave us food to go! Another Canadian girl Megan overheard talk of trip and also joined. 1 HR drive. Best taxi man ever! Woke up at 4.30 again (this is killing me) to see u bein bridge at sunset. Payed smiling taxi man 20000 KYT and he dropped us at ferry station on way back. Caught -1 hr ferry to mingun where say unfinished pagoda and second largest bell. Accosted by small child and naught faux jade bracelet for $2. Headed back circa one for lunch at BBB and cocktails! Got tipsy with ease and wandered streets of Mandalay before bed.
