Hiiiii,

We are in Seville now...woohoooo. It is probably the nicest place that we have been too. It rates tops with barcelona...maybe even beats it.

But first from where we left off in morocco. We left the internet place and had a proper moroccan dinner down by the beach. We both had couscous.....mine was nice because it was just vegetables and a sauce but poor ben had some crappy lamb. Waaay too much couscous too. But hey we had moroccan food in morocco. Then we just went back to the pension which was nice because we could hear all the atmosphere of the medina but be away from it.

The next morning we decided to make a quick get away....we packed our bags and headed straight for the port before everyone woke up to hassle us. Finally we found a ticket (alot more expensive than the spanish side...probs because everyone wants to leave haha) and we got a boat back. We had to go to tarifa instead of algeciras which is the most southern point of spain. That was fine because there is a courtesy bus from tarifa to algeciras that we could catch. Omg though the ferry was revolting. It was a bit rocky and people were seasick everywhere. Kids were just spewing left right and centre (we were fairly ok actually....i mean it wasnt pleasant but we werent sick). Poor ben needed the toilet and he said he couldnt get through the spewing people. Totally gross....everyone was happy to get off that boat.

Then we had to literally fight our way onto the courtesy bus...people were just going nuts pushing each other. This american guy just went ape s*** at someone shouting "what is wrong with you people.....people come off the bus before u get on got it." He had a point it was just nuts. We were lucky when we arrived at algeciras train station we managed to catch a train almost straight away to seville. We had to change trains at Bobadilla which is like this nothing town and wait there for 1.5 hours but hey. We just wanted to get to seville.

We found the nicest hostel here...we have our own room in this old convent convert...so nice. Again we have a TINY balcony looking out onto the santa cruz area. Its just great even if the shower is the devil.

We went out for a stroll yesterday as we didnt even arrive in seville until 9.30 getting to the hostel around 10. Had some dinner (got free drinks because the stupid place brought my meal out after ben had finished his...grrr annoying) and then went to the hostel to crash because we were tired from pretty much an entire day of travelling.

Still we are so happy to be here in Seville. Sad that its the end of spain but looking forward to everywhere else. Today we are doing all of the sights before working out how the hell we are going to get to portugal as no trains to go the algarve from here. Hmmm......

Anyways....finally this blog thing is up to date. Shall try and be more reliable.
