We're now back in South Australia in a small town called Gawler just outside of Adelaide. Our flight with Virgin Blue was a pretty swift one and we landed after two hours. We have picked up the car from Kerry's cousin Keith and it's really nice, a 4 litre Ford Falcon Automatic. Keith has been fantastic and has even done an oil change on it and replaced the brake pads and discs just in case we encounter anymore suicidal Kangeroo's out there!
We're currently in the process today of finding a job which is proving tricky as all the agriculture work doesn't really start happening down this way until February, when the Barossa Valley begins it's grape picking. This means we might have to find alternative work for a few weeks or otherwise we'll have to head across to Victoria where there are other fruits to be picked this time of year. Also we've got to hunt around for a few bits of camping gear before we set off on our second road trip, as this one is going to be a considerable amount more miles than the one we did to Exmouth.
Anyway, we shall keep you all posted, in the meantime cross your fingers for us for those jobs otherwise we'll be seeing you all again shortly!
