Saturday 18th November

Hello everyone back there in England! Not much to tell you all about for this entry as have been taking it easy for the last couple of days. Got a shuttle bus back up to Lovina a few days ago as we prefer it here in the North of the Island, the people are so friendly and the pace of life much slower than the commercialised South. The shuttle bus journey was quite an experience up through the mountains and volcanos again passing through some sleepy little villages and some which were bussling with life and lots of motorbikes as is the trend here! Spoke to a solo traveller called Mike who was a really nice guy and showed us pictures of his family back home and photos of his marathons across Thailand and asia raising money for people who need it the most. He was really inspiring to talk to and even gave us some bananas to eat on the journey, not that I look like a little monkey or anything!

Since arriving back in Lovina we've just been taking it easy reading books by the pool and listening to music on our Ipods, what invaluable little purchases they have been so far! Miles away from home but I can still listen to all my Heavy Metal! Weather here has been so humid that we both feel like we've lost half our body weight in sweat, a pretty gross fact I admit but I thought I would share that with you guys anyway! In the evenings we've been strolling up into the slightly busier area of Lovina and eating at some inexpensive restaurants and then walking all the way back to work off our full bellies. We've been leaving the little porch light on outside the room every night before we go out and every night we return we can be guaranteed that there'll be a couple of Gecko's sitting outside the room waiting for us, reminds me of the ones I used to own as pets a few years back.

Anyway i'm starting to ramble on a bit now! Plans for the next few days are to go and see some Dolphins at sunrise out on a boat in the Ocean (the Dolphins will be in the sea, not in the boat) and then we will be making our way back down South on the 21st to be nearer Danpasar for our flight out to Perth on the 23rd. We're thinking of staying in Ubud or maybe back down in Kuta so hopefully I can update you all again then.
