Vesturland, Iceland
Up early again this morning and drove to the end of the Vesturland peninsula for a walk on the cliffs.
Before I traveled I read a narrative book about Iceland that discussed, among other topics, the impact of tourism on Iceland. At one point the author was livid about the fetish tourists have for stacking rocks. It gave me a new perspective. I guess in older times people stacked rocks to navigate in inclement weather.
