Most of the rest of the day was drizzly and foggy/cloudy. But every so often the weather opened up to reveal amazing vistas like this. From this point on I'm driving the north coast of the Vesturland peninsula.

Well, this is the place where old sea birds go to die. There were a number of them that barely moved when I scrambled by them. I exited a different route.

The cave I mentioned earlier. I'll need to work this over as an enlargement because the edges of the cave look like giant teeth. More amazing contrasting patterns.

And, the contrast between what appears to be sedimentary rock above and the rounded beach stocks was equally amazing. I spent a good twenty minutes marveling at all the patterns.
