Guess who was the pilot? Actually she was taking the picture. We really enjoyed the chopper ride from Vegas to The Grand Canyon. Such fun and piloting a helicopter doesn't look too tricky so maybe next time.........

This is just the entrance to the hotel spa. Said to be one of the best in the world due to the awards it has won. After our treatments we look 20ish years younger........ The spa itself was fabulous and understated OTT for Vegas standards.

Encore! This is our hotel which has 63 floors. We are up on the 61st floor which is close to the lettering on the building. When you get to Vegas it's like the whole world has gone mad. You have to go with the flow!

It's Big! It's called grand for a reason. We took a trek down the canyon. Walkers need to remember you start by going down. Coming back up is the tough bit. After 2 hours of going down we came to a marker called Skeleton Point and thought we better turn back.

Lake Powell National Park, Utah

Here we are on a boat tour of a tiny part of Lake Powell. The lake is formed by a dam which was constructed to supply water to the dry west coast American states. It was finished in 1969 which then started to back up the Colorado. It took 11 years to fill the vast area.
