Arrived feeling shattered after our much disrupted journey to Bonito and the insane driving of our bus driver. Bonito is known for its ecofriendly attitude and so today we went to one of the natural river pools. Beautiful place with a zip wire going into the fresh water, which was so clear you could see all the fish swimming below! Made the most of the facilities and played some volleyball and table tennis. After our first overnight bus journey, we arrived in Foz do Iguassu. On the first day we crossed semi illegally into Paraguay to go to a black market which is good for electronic stuff but not much else. Day 7, 27th June, we went to see the falls from the Argentinian side. The falls are spectacular and we were able to get a boat trip along the river which took us under the falls themselves. Day 6 24th June, We went for a cheap day today so went to Trindade beach on another death bus, bloody hell they are scary at times! Had a lovely day at the beach and then cooked in the hotel with a couple of other girls to save some money. Everyone then chilled out int he hotel with some drinks and played cards. Day7, today we head off on a overnight bus journey to Iguazzu Falls, can´t wait!

Day 3 21st June, we travelled by boat to Ihla Grande the biggest island off the mainland. They have no cars or cash machines on the island and everyone gets around by boat. Theres only about 4000 people inthe village we stayed and lots of dogs. The island is stunning, definitly the most beautiful place i~ve seen. So, first day in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil... After arriving late last night and not sleeping too great, I got up early and headed to Sugar Loaf (see picture above). Managed to find the place and negotiate Portuguese on my own! However, from the dates I was in Rio the Sugar Loaf was only open half way.
