Hey everyone!
Just a quick note to say we are now in Sydney, have been here for a week so far and are loving it!Great city with lots to see and do, although it has rained quite a bit since we have been here it is still pretty hot!
We are staying in a place called Manly, 30 minutes by ferry to the City with great views of the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge as you travel in, not my favourite mode of transport as you all may know but Jimmy assures me the ferry will not tip over, even though the last couple of times it has felt like it will as with the ocean swell at Sydney Heads the boat rocks up and down and side to side like a theme park ride!!Except there are apparantly sharks in the water if we were to fall in!!
We are staying in Sydney for another week and visiting the Blue Mountains for a couple of days next Monday/Tuesday then heading up the east coast on the lovely Greyhound Bus!! I don't think this trip is going to convert me to be a public transport lover somehow!!
Hope all is well back in the UK and chief blog writer will update his masterpiece for you next week before we move on along with adding some photos!!
Also wanted to clarify regarding our last blog, Jimmy missed out some key detail regarding the infamous Indian Curry he had as a takeaway with no cutlery, he actually ate this with the two tourist Singapore travel cards (like credit card size and shape) that we couldn't get the deposits back for that night!!! And he then washed them so we could take these back the following day and get our $20 back!!!lol!!!

Fi Loving the blogs, keep 'em coming! Woohoo, proud of you tackling the rollercoaster ferry trips, Franki, bet the views are amazing - hope you got pics. I've never heard of anyone being got at by a shark in Sydney Harbour - your Dad swam around in it (accidentally of course) for 1/2hour on his Oz trip and he lived to tell the tale!! What a hoot about Singapore travel card 'cutlery' - they were probably the most germ-laden items you've ever handled - but was it a good curry?!? How was the party-in-a-downpour? Dad set off 7.30am today for ski jollies with G and D - Pearsons scattered across the world! Have fun in blue mountains and on your greyhound, Lol from all your family xxxx
