Time for a new update. Its been a while since last time and New Zealand is long gone. But ofcourse im going to tell you all abou New Zealand before moving on to South Afrika where i am now.

On the last blog entry, the last place we visited was Mt. Cook. After that we drowe down to Dunedin. A city located on the west coast. Here we met one of my friends from the surf course in Australia. Here we had some nice days where Reuben showed us around.
After that we headed o Queenstown with plans to skydive, but because i got abit sick we had to cancel it, real shame that. After Queenstown we went to Haast on the east coast, and spent the night there before we went up to Fox glacier. here we celebrated Christmas on a nice cozy hotel. I would love to show you some pichtures but their all on Carolines camera and ofcourse she took that with her back home.
After some nice days at the glacier we headed up the east coast with. We planed to stop at Westport but when we got there, no room in the whole city was free. So we were forced to drive on and ended up in a small town called Murchinson. A nice place but really small so there wasnt much happening there.
From Murchinson we headed up to Nelson where we spent one night. Here we also went up to the geographical center of New Zealand. Later we drove on to Picton where we took the ferry over to Wellington. Picton was allso the place we had to hand in our car. Here we had almost 5 days. This was also the place we celebrated New years eve. A kinda new experience having both christmas and new years in the summer. There was a slight dissapointment though and that was that there was no fireworks, and a as a firework fan i thought that was kinda lame.
After Wellington we took the plane to Auckland. Here we had the last days ogether before Caroline had to go back home. Here we mostly spent thetime in the city shopping. we went to the cinema a cuple of times as well. And if theres one thing Norway can learn form New Zealand. It is the gold class cinema, that has to be the best seats a cinema experience ive had. Firstly you get into a private gold class lounge where you can order anything you like and have it brought to your seat inside the cinema. You can get most kinds of snacks and drinks, including beer and vine. You can even order some types of hot food, so you can have dinner while watching the movie. You can also tell them when you want it brought to you.

When Caroline went home i had some more days in Auckland, before i left for Sydney this because my plane to South Afrika was from there. Here i had 2 days before catching the plane. Andi think Sydney is my favorite city so far and i absolutely recomend going there if have the chance.

One Fun fact from the trip from Sydney to Johannesburg, we flew over the south pole that was kinda cool seeing on the map you get on your screen and seeing the ice from the windows.
Now im in Cape Town and getting adjusted to the new time an temprature.
