We arrived in Zanzibar after driving up from the Serengeti and passing through Arusha and Moshi in Tanzania. We had to get a ferry and I was NOT happy with this. I spent the entire 2 hours journey with a sick bag in my lap (although pleased to say it wasnt actually used) The people here are lovely and most live in poverty but they still want to help you in any way they can. We took a 4 hour drive from our campsite in the Ngorongoro Conservation area right down into the Ngorongoro crater. The views from the top were like nothing we had ever seen and the roads had 100ft drops either side with no barriers, needless to say I was absolutely sh***ing myself. We saw 3 out of the Big 5 that day aswell as Hippo, Wildebeest, Giraffe etc. We then drove another 3 hours into the Serengeti National Park and completed the viewings of the Big 5. W...
