Dear diary,

I left Terry at home doing my washing and clearing out the pool and I have ventured into town. After a sandwich I was pleased to see a Chelsea FC top in a shop which I had seen the day before. Then ensued an interesting debate with the shopkeepers about football (not soccer!). One of them asked me the same question that I have been asked many times, and that is 'but you English hate the US, right?' I replied no, but made it quite clear that we are two nations separated by language.....interesting that I have been asked this many times. Anyhow, autumn is setting in here and it is quite beautiful. I am enjoying just wandering and exploring. Capitol, Museum of Contemporary Art, University campus, State St and the lakes here. I do feel the need however to frequent the college bars tonight to see what is happening ;-)) I hope all is well.....and for those who are on my Facebook I have uploaded many photos for your perusal.
