Got up fairly early to the sound of rain outside - wasn't too heavy but just wanted to stay in the cabin and stay asleep! Wanted to go to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum but found out that it was closed on Fridays and Mondays - it was one of the things that Manisha really wanted to see but as we were heading to Ha Long Bay the next day, she wouldn't be able to get to see it. We arrived in Hanoi at around 8am after a very warm nights sleep on the bus. As per usual when we got off the bus in Hanoi we were besieged by numerous taxi drivers wanting to take us to a really good hotel that they know. We managed to fight them off for a while then get one who could take us all to our hotels.
