Well... that darn economy. We've hit our first real speed bump. Money is coming in and coming right back out. Not able to get any money into our savings for a wee bit now. It's a bit frustrating, and generally upsetting, but I always try to remember our goals. We will persevere and push though. This is our dream trip. Just keeping the goal in mind should be enough to help us get there.

I sometimes wonder, how so many people are able to travel around the world. We are struggling, saving everything we can. We are planning on making many sacrifices this year in order to save just one more penny. So many people are able to just decide they are leaving and leave. Maybe it's because I love my city. Or I love my life here. Or... I simply have the fear of leaving it all behind without a care. No.. not without a care... but with the idea that seeing the world is WORTH leaving it all behind.

I will one day be able to say I have travelled. I have travelled Europe, Asia, Africa to my hearts content. I know that if I just keep at it, that it is the only logical conclusion. You cannot continually strive for something, think about it everyday and pour yourself into it, without an amazing result.

Just keep trying. Don't lose that vision of perfection when your plane begins it decent into that foreign, unknown world which you will soon conquor. I can do it!!!
