Hi All,

These are my ramblings from 12 weeks overseas in the US Winter of 2007/2008. Eight of these weeks will be spent in the office of House Majority Whip James E. Clyburn of the United States Congress. The rest will be checking in on some London connections, a sample of Arlington Virginia (my temporary

home), New York, Philidelphia and Boston and generally exploring the surrounds of District.

I will try to reduce these anecdotes to observations which are novel, witty or merely concise. Be mindful, however, of how often I am able to achieve such goals, however honourable.
