30/10/06 - Arrived in Sydney a little later than planned at 9am. I walked up to the Y Hotel on Hyde Park and requested that my room be prioritised for cleaning. The lady was superb and I got into my room at 10.30am, yippee!  I was shattered, as I hadn't really slept a wink on the coach overnight.  I also requested if I could use my breakfast voucher now on arrival, considering I would be checking out too early to have it on my day of departure....

7/10/06 - Bus to Canberra at 12.30pm, will get me in at 3.45pm.Arrived in Canberra on time and jumped in a taxi.  Room is very nice and people seem friendly.  Settled in and carried on reading my latest book 'Lucky Man', by Michael J. 4/10/06 - 10am Greyhound coach to Sydney, will get me into Sydney at 11.20pm!!! Journey went really quickly and I arrived in Sydney around 11.35pm and my gosh!! what a fantastic view coming into the city!!!!! 1/10/06 - Got up around 10.30am, still feeling a little tired, had another lovely breakfast. Have sorted out my coach bookings for next legs of trip to Sydney, then Canberra, then Melbourne and also my accommodation bookings. Need to look into getting a flight back to Brisbane from Melbourne for the wedding, otherwise if I take the coach it will take me about 2 days!!!!!!
