Eds udon noodles. Pork. Mixed in with the noodles was a pickled radish in the soup. I think. It could have been another vegetable. Nice for different pop of flavour :) Condiments of chilli and red vinegar and soy. Added lots of chilli. Nice chilli taste and filling dish. The fresh coriander made it extra nice. Both dishes combined 20 yuan. :)

Yesterday just travelled so more fruit snacks pot noodle. Today in Kunming in yunnan area of china had this Fragrant fried rice spring onion peppers, lemon grass, pork, side dish of what was like kimchi...pickled radish with chilli and pickled ginger. Bowl of clear broth. Really light fresh taste to the rice.

Eating again. :) Made up for yesterday. Sweet and sour pork with batter fried corn kernels. The tempura on the pork was light the sauce literally the best I've ever had for sweet and sour. Not too sweet or bitter. Great consistency. The corn was salty and tasted sort of like it was fried with breadcrumbs but think its a batter that's drizzled in. Another do this at home recipe. Dali beer too. Won't be going there but we're in the province so worth a try...

More rice :) well we are in Dazhai, Longsheng :) home of the rice fields. Great fried rice. Carrot ginger white pepper beef garlic oil rice. No soy sauce or egg. You think it's going to be dry but it's not it's perfect. Actually there may be some soy but here the food is much drier than the Chinese food at home. You think it will need more sauce including the meet dishes as they come with plain boiled sticky rice. But they are great on their own.

Beef with peppers. In ping an too. Still Longsheng area. Longi rice terraces. Mild. Simple. Great lunch for hiking ;)
