On the TGV. Another one of those ham and cheese rolls. I know cheese! Seriously it was everywhere in Villeneuve.

Another delicious baked breakfast treat! I chose the mini croissant and it was even more buttery delicious than the larger one yesterday. Yum!

Finally cooking at home. Goodness we have been so indulgent in France ! Hard boiled eggs and boiled new potatoes, perfectly ripe avocados, vine tomatoes, half an onion and really fresh lettuce. Didn't have any oil and vinegar so I finished the potatoes off in butter (a tablespoon) and added that to the salad with lots of fresh black pepper! The salad was perfect. Filled us up and felt really French - maybe as we were sitting outside !

Lunch was half of a cheese and ham roll. They literally didn't have anything without cheese. I could have taken it out but it was at that lovely melted stage !

After last nights indulgence really trying to be good. So obviously I'll start the day with a buttery croissant ! We shared this one and I didn't add cream or milk to the coffee. Not a bad start!
