Licancabur (5920 m) is a volcano on the border between Chile and Bolivia. It dominates the landscape of the Salar de Atacama area. Its ice-covered crater lake is one of the highest lakes in the world, and despite air temperatures of -30 °C, it contains fauna. - Right next to it is the only 200 m smaller volcano Juriques.
